If you’re visiting Phoenix, Arizona and lucky enough to be there when the Open Air Market at the Phoenix Public Market is open, check it out and you’ll have a great time. Food trucks, farmers, bakers and others are there to sell their fresh grown and locally made items.
This local market was created by the Community Food Connections ( a not-for-profit organization) to help support local small farmers and businesses that strengthen sustainable food systems and produce healthy products for the community.
On a recent Wednesday evening, the market had several food trucks, fresh produce, local honey, organic pet food, sorbetto, bakery goods and much more.
Located just a few steps away is the Cafe at the Phoenix Public Market, which has a lovely patio to relax and enjoy a cocktail or a quick bite.
The Cafe also has a tempting bakery with artisanal breads, cookies, brownies and decadent macarons big enough to satisfy even the most demanding sweet tooth.
The Open Air Market is open on Wednesday evenings starting at 5pm and Saturdays 8am-Noon. Food Truck Friday is open from 11am to 1:30pm. The cafe is open 7am to 11pm daily. You can catch up on the latest on their Facebook Page.
